I was trying to capture a photo of me using the build-in webcam on my laptop when I google and found this software. The company that wrote this software claim that this software will improve the quality of the photo captured using webcam. Read more after the jump......
Here is what is claim by the company: See the difference between Quality Capture and others Simple to use program used to increase webcam photo quality. Compatible with any web camera. Backup function by creating snapshot of files or registry or both.
When minimizing it, it will shrink to notification area and show CPU, memory and power information whenever you point the mouse to the icon.

How would you like to create or design game for iPhone or iPad or Mac or PC or PPC or etc platform? I heard to write an apps for iPhone/iPad would need software that costs hundreds if not thousands. I just bump into a software that allow you to create games not only for iPhone/iPad but for PC and Mac. More info after the jump......
If you don't know how to start, you can download the software and also some demo and try it out first. The website also have step-by-step tutorial for you to follow and create your own game. Who knows, you might create a game that even more popular than Angry Birds.
It is free but the website also offer licensed version: Express license for US$99/year or Professional license for US$1499/year. Excuse me, I am just going with free version for now. Unless you are really into writing game and want to make money out of it, I would suggest you go with free version for now.
Why do you need to save the map when you can view it whenever you are online? Simple, because some of us not always able to be online. Or it could be very costly to be always-on. If you are using McAfee antivirus, you will notice the CPU being running hot because of a process called "FrameworkService.exe" which use up all the CPU power. This is known bug from McAfee, even though McAfee said it should already fix it for "McAfee Agent 4.5 Patch 1 Hotfix 620018 for Windows or later", but how about corporate users which still waiting for their ever slow IT guys to update the McAfee for their computer/laptop?
To make things worse, you might have a presentation to do but the battery is running low and this frameworkservice.exe wouldn't quit and keep on running with high CPU.
Even though it says it is fix for newer version, some people still notice the problem didn't goes away.

Angry Birds fans, now you have another choice of where to play your favorite Angry Birds game, which is on Chrome. This is a very good news for PC/Windows user because the Windows version of Angry Birds is not being updated like the one for iOS/Android/etc mobile OS. So now I can play the Angry Birds on my Windows.
The tricks is you need to install Chrome on your Windows and then head to this link within your Chrome browser to install the Angry Bird.
The installation was quick, but first time running will be a bit slow since the Chrome apps need to download the game data files from the server. But after that it will be very quick every time you launch it from your Chrome. I have tried it without connecting to internet and it still works!
Rovio (the company that make Angry Birds) even have special levels just for Chrome only!
So why wait? Go download Chrome now and then install Angry Birds.

timdream from Taiwan wrote some HTML5 code to generate word cloud from website or blog or twitter or RSS feed or facebook or any file from local drive that you key in. Here is how:
2. Click start and then put your blog/website RSS feed or blogger/twitter/facebook ID or select a file. And then click the big Start button on bottom right.
3. It take some time to read and the display a completion note. Click the box again to see your word cloud.
4. Modify the word cloud by changing the color, adjust the text size and regenerate it. It can also save out the result.

2. Key in *#0*#.
3. LCD TEST application will be loaded.
4. Test SUPER AMOLED Plus display in red, green, blue, white and black colour. Make sure that your AMOLED screen has a perfect colour.
5. Can also test the front and back camera functionality.
6. Test sensors like accelerometer, proximity, lights, gyroscope and magnetic sensors.
7. Test the touch screen sensitiveness, etc.

While downloading video from YouTube is very easy nowadays because of various tools available to help us to do the job, downloading video from other websites still not easy, especially YouKo (优酷, a famous YouTube in China). The problem I have is the flv file saved from YouKo is always in multiple files (each file for 7min~). Here is a tutorial on how to combine multiple flv files into one flv file.
1. Download FLV Binder from this webpage or directly here. 2. Don't follow the instruction on the website, just unzip and put the files (exe and dll) into a dir that you want to merge the flv files 3. Open command prompt For WinXP and older: Start -> run -> type "cmd" without the double quote and press enter For Win7 and Vista: Start -> type "cmd" in the "Search program and files" box and press enter 4. Go to the directory that you store the flv files Example: cd c:\Downloads\flv_files 5. Enter the command to merge the flv Example: flvbind all.flv 1.flv 2.vlf.... flvbind 6. The sequence of source flv is very important. 7. Done, enjoy your merged flv! :)

I am getting phishing email again (previous phishing email), this time the email is faking CIMB bank. People that being panic would click to the link and give out they confidential information.
I want to see how do they fake the website, but FireFox already block it, nice work FireFox!
Too bad this website already being reported to authority and it has been suspended, otherwise I can print screen the fake CIMB website.
People, please be careful. Do not response to any of the email the requesting us to key in our account id/name and password. Please call to bank to confirm such request, and also do not call to the phone number listed in the email, they will fake a bank call center to trick us to give the information they wanted. Just google the real bank website and find the phone number and call. If still in doubt, just call the authority.

The company that wrote HyperCam version 2, Hyperionics is giving out HyperCam free worldwide. This is because they have version 3 which costs 29.95 Euro. So why not give it a try. I used it to recorded the works that I do and give it to a trainee to do the same job for me. I saved a lot of time because it is much easier to show in video than in powerpoint. :)

My first email was with hotmail. I remember that first time I got into internet, the first thing I did was to open up a hotmail account! Well, time fly and this hotmail become a backup email only ever since I start using gmail. It was because hotmail was offering 100M or 200M of storage (READ: OFFER, gotta be joking) and my friend recommended gmail, which was 1G at that time.
Okay, fast forward to present, did hotmail ever improve? The storage have improved, I mean with skydrive, you get 25G! Not bad huh! But but but, today I was checking the hotmail, and I saw the only mail in junk folder is this one. Email from Hotmail team ended up at junk mail, pretty effective huh?
