What you see is NOT what you get
Usually when we read news papers or magazine, the models/artists in the articles or ads are super beautiful, not a flaw! Many years back it was make up, so you still can see a little bit of flaw. But now with photoshop, there is no flow, except sometime the "photoshoper" that made some mistake. :P With photoshop, the guys can be macho!
This video showing how the people in video/movie can be taller or slimmer or more macho, any way you like it!
So people, what you see in the movie/photo/magazine/blog/web is not always the real one. Don't try to be exactly like in the movie/photo/magazine/blog/web. What most important is your heart. :)

How good is Yahoo Answers?
What do you do when you have a question and you want an answer right away? You google it right? Well, few years back, before google take over yahoo, we use "yahoo" it. :P
Anyway, sometimes I got google to show me some yahoo! answer or some other forums. But how reliable of these yahoo! answer and forums?
See example here, the questions was "Can i get help rebooting my computer?"
And one of the answer came out like this:
There even 6 thumbs up for that answer! OMG! :D
p/s: if your friends don't know how to google it, let me show you how. :)

RockMelt: the Facebook browser?
There are some buzz on the WWW on new browser these few days. A new type of browser called "RockMelt" has came out. It has the Google Chrome
look, but with Facebook, and Twitter
and some other social media "built" into the browser.
To be able to download the beta (yes, read beta, with bugs and issues), you have to register with Facebook
account (is Zuckerberg is behind this?). This remind me of the time when gmail
started, you have to have someone to refer invite you. But refer invite is way too old style, so Facebook it is.
This is what I get after "connect" (this is how they called it) with Facebook
, I have to wait for a few more days? HUH? Talking about WWW speed.
Anyway, here is the youtube video of the introduction.
If you want to try it, go to here lol:
http://www.rockmelt.com/
Oh, it should be free, who want a paid browser nowadays? :P
See more update:
More on RockMelt
RockMelt that not quite there yet

Blogger Stats
Couple of months ago, I still using some counter websites to track who/where/how my audience that come to this Outdated Penang Uncle blog. So I have to sign up for the service (yes, a lot of them are free), add the widget and after a while login to find out the statistic. For past few months, blogger added the page view tracking for all the blogspot, so even though I still have the counter at my blog, usually I just look at the "Stats" to find out my audience.
To access it: login blogger, Dashboard, Stats of the blog (if you have more than 1 blog).
"Posts" can tell us which post has highest click. "Traffic Sources" tell us where do the traffic come from, either google or twitter or your friend's blog/web, etc. The "Audience" can tell us from which country and what OS/browsers the audience using.
Here is the print screen of the Outdated Penang Uncle's Stats. For last month, the most traffic are from US and Malaysia. And IE still have most popular browsers (actually all time showed FireFox is the most browsers used), and Windows is the OS most people use.
How is your blog's traffic? Share with us here. :)
