Flatbed scanner becomes multitouch panel

Someone from hackaday.com demonstrated his creation of multitouch panel by using components from old flatbed scanner. See the video after the jump.





I like DIY, but no space+time to do it. Nowadays I only do some easy and quick fixes for house appliances only. DO you like DIY?
